Ubong Okpon

Ubong works for Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) and he is serving the community by relocating and expanding companies to create primary jobs in Lubbock. He became involved with Love the HUB because someone took a chance on him in advancing his personal and professional development. He wants to pay it forward to the next generation or leader that sees themselves for more than their current situation and not let it hold them back from becoming the best version of themselves. He is originally from Houston, Texas and currently lives in Wolfforth, Texas (Lubbock County) with his wife and baby boy. He went to Texas Tech University and received his Bachelors in Chemistry and his Masters in Healthcare Administration.
